Famous person you admire Marie Curie

 

 

 

It is an example of a successful woman and a role model, because since young I had obstacles and she overcome for fulfill their dreams, because at the time in which she lived society was chauvinism, she did her best to make her studies with honors.

With her simple and timid appearance, that  her characterized, she  departed from Poland to France, to continue break its challenged stereotypes that women were not able be outstanding, she married Pierre Curie who shared her passion for science and who was supported in her research.

They began to pursue their studies by recent discoveries of radiation types, for their efforts was the first person to use the radioactive ended, with her manage husband discovering new radioactive elements and therefore received the Nobel Prize in Physics, being Marie the first woman to receive it, although they were somewhat isolated by their research.

Her husband received more recognition than she, and he was given his post as professor at a university in France, but she did not receive the recognition it deserved, even by accident Pierre Curie died four years later, Mari took his place at the university, this did not stop to continue his research and received her second Nobel Prize Chemist.

 An enterprising woman we must imitate, despite all the obstacles we have put 100% of our effort to meet our goals and succeed.
